and that the airline had offered me alternative flights, but these flights go to an airport 1000′s of KMs from where i want to go!

Also my stop over arrives and leaves from 2 different airports, so not anything like the original tickets I purchased.

So my advice is, if you can avoid Travelup, pay extra if you can knowing that you are not going to run into issues.

People have flown half way round the world to meet me at my holiday destination.
